Test Setup

We test all Intel Skylake-X CPUs using an Asus ROG Strix X299 -E Gaming along with an NZXT Kraken X42 cooler, 32GB of Corsair Vengeance RGB 3,000MHz memory. We've also retested many CPUs in the graphs to include results using our updated GPU - a Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 AMP! Edition, which we now use for all CPU benchmarks - as well as new benchmarks such as PCMark 10's Photo Editing test; CPU-Z Version 1.79, which altered benchmark parameters to cater for Ryzen CPUs; plus Handbrake and several new 3D tests. There are a few omissions, but once we get round to Coffee Lake reviews soon, we'll have all the necessary CPUs in the graphs.
